Highly anticipated AEW Dream Match announced for next week’s 250th episode of Dynamite

Will Ospreay and MJF are both locked in a battle for the hearts and minds of AEW fans, as only one man can be the face of the AEW franchise. With the 250th episode of “Dynamite,” AEW President Tony Khan has set up a massive match between the two young stars.

Will Ospreay will put his AEW International Championship on the line against former World Champion MJF, a match that culminates in both men posturing over young upstart Daniel Garcia. MJF attacked Garcia last week, injuring the former Jericho Appreciation Society member and drawing Ospreay’s wrath.

Ospreay has been the International Champion since May at Double or Nothing, when he dethroned Roderick Strong to win the title for the first time since joining AEW earlier this year. The upcoming match will be MJF’s first title match since returning to AEW, which also took place at Double or Nothing. The former AEW World Champion has been sidelined due to a number of injuries he sustained during his year-plus reign as AEW Champion.

Later on the broadcast, PAC won a four-way match against NJPW’s Kyle Fletcher, Claudio Castagnoli, and Tomohiro Ishii to become the next contender for the International Title, challenging the winner of Ospreay vs. MJF. PAC cut a promo after the match, suggesting that his title match could take place when AEW returns to Wembley Stadium at All In 2024.
